Dandy the Van’s Three Sidekicks

We are beyond excited to have you here! The Dandy the Van children’s book has been a passion project on Alaina’s back burner for a few years. After approaching Diane and David to illustrate the story, and seeing the cuteness of Dandy as a cartoon, we quickly got to work creating our debut children’s book.

Alaina Ann (Lainy Cakes)

A multi passionate entrepreneur and lady, Alaina Ann spends her days as a graphic designer, photographer, and writer. She may be spotted driving Dandy the Van anywhere in North America, likely wearing something purple. She loves hiking miles on end each day and curling up with a good book at night. Taking on the role of author was inspired by reading countless books to her nieces and nephews over the years.

Diane Bidi (Divi Sweets)

A born and raised Washington, D.C. area native with a strong desire to explore new things, Diane Bidi is an avid consumer of all things pretty and an aspiring comic book hero. When she is not trying to save the world, Diane is bringing the world of Dandy the Van to life with her illustrations of the beauty found throughout the United States.

David Sacramo (Davey Marshmallow)

Davey Marshmallow, also known as David Sacramo, is a pretty cool guy. He loves Washington, D.C. sports, Star Wars, and teaching himself new things. His skill with computers is almost matched by his fondness for having a good laugh and helping others. He is ready to bring the color of Dandy the Van’s world into your home!
